After many unsuccessfull attempts to find a female pup from good , working lines different from what I already had, my friend Harold Lambert and me finally found a promising litter in North Carolina. The sire Smoking Scout MH is a good solid working dog, and the dam Oak Hill Stormy Monday is very well bred too. Kali did not disapoint us, she is a very athletic, fast and driven retriever, good marker and trainable. Handled by our friend Émilie Bourassa, she took 3rd place in the Junior Puppy stake at the 2009 ACC field Specialty held in Maine. In 2010, she easily completed her WC and JH. In 2011, she completed her WCI and earned 2 Senior Hunt passes. She is showing great promise for more advanced stakes.
She has a very good temperament and works very well in the hunting blind too.
